I remember my very first phone conversation with you and how
nervous I was. You quickly put me at ease and assured me
that I could “trust you” and you were right. That treasured
memory brings a smile to my face. Words of gratitude will
never express how grateful I am for your knowledge and expertise
in the journey of purchasing a home. Your understanding of
“credit” is priceless. No first time homeowner could ever be
prepared for the “ride” that they are about to embark upon.
I have rode Disneyland’s Space Mountain 13 times in one day and
given birth to a child – neither of those experiences even come
close to buying a home!
You protected me from predator sellers with unethical practices
and looked out for my best interest every step of the way.
If the bad guys pushed you pushed back to keep me safe and my
investment safer. You reminded me to take deep breaths and were
able to get me to look at the bigger picture from different perspectives. You made yourself available to me when I felt my heart begin to race.
You treated me as though I was your only customer by giving me your full
attention to detail. You took time to accommodate my schedule and meet
with me in person. If I rang your phone you always answered and when you
couldn’t you always called me back with the answer.
God was looking over me when he made our paths cross. My home purchasing
journey was amazingly, wonderfully unforgettable!
Today I can proudly say,
“ I am a homeowner” and I owe it all to you.

Dear Chris,
I'd like to take this moment to thank you for all the support and expert
guidance you gave me throughout the process of my buying my first home.
I was impressed the very first morning I spoke with you and ran the preapproval
for my home loan. You then the very best loan option for me, including the
CALSTRS program, which ended up suiting my particular needs just perfectly.
Then you guided me through the steps to determine which was the home price
I needed to focus on, carefully explaining to me all the costs from the top
of my approval rate down to the lowest reasonable loan amount. This helped
me narrow down my options and closely focus in on the neighborhoods and homes
I wanted to visit.
Moreover, through all this, you explained the entire home
purchasing process from the very first steps through to what happens on closing
day, defining terms, responding to my questions, even educating me on the very
particular challenges we're facing in the housing market right now and the
reasons why the market is experiencing the stresses it's experiencing.
This was an amazing first conversation... we must have spoken for more
than an hour and by the end of the hour, I felt confident that I was
ready to take on this challenge. Chris, you never let me down; you returned
my calls promptly, kept me continually in the loop, patiently responded to my
questions (even if they were redundant), and addressed my fears.
What I didn't know until the very end is how much work you put in after hours to
make sure the demands of both the loan conditions and the stressful short sale
were met in a timely manner. You worked closely and well with my realtor and we
closed within three weeks of the start of escrow, as you promised me we would.
The seller certainly didn't make this easy on us. I had to trust you that all
would work out in the end and you constantly encouraged me and assured me that
the sale would go through. You were true to your word. Moreover, what you
laid out for me at the beginning in terms of closing costs, insurance, taxes,
and mortgage payments, ended up being exactly how the deal closed. Nothing
unexpected came my way.... Chris, you are knowledgeable and forthright,
confident and a wonderful team member. I appreciate so much the care and interest
you took in this monumental undertaking on my behalf and I am loving living in
my new home. My deepest gratitude to you. I will certainly recommend you to
any of my friends who are undertaking their own home purchase.

Chris Reese is a fantastic loan officer!
This was my first home purchase and I knew
nothing about the process. Chris explained
everything (and sometimes more than once).
He made sure I understood what was going on
each step of the way. He made sure I knew
exactly what to expect as far as costs to
close the deal. He didn’t downplay any of
the expenses. Because of this I was able to
not only have all of the cash I needed, but
I even ended up with some left over! He also
helped me figure out a way to get the money
for a down payment. I love my house and am
so pleased I got into one at a comfortable
price. When I told Chris my budget, he said
I could probably get approved for more, but
I told him what my maximum purchase price
was. That is all he got me approved for - he
listened to what I told him and didn’t get
me approved for more. I really appreciate
this detail since I didn’t want to be
tempted to look at more expensive houses
than I thought I could afford. By the time I
signed loan documents, I felt prepared.
Chris had explained so many things so well,
that I didn’t have any questions at the
signing and I didn’t feel as though I was
blindly signing my name. I can’t say enough
good things about Chris. He turned what
could have been a stressful time into a
pleasant experience and helped me get a loan
that I feel very good about.

Dear Chris Reese,
I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you so much for all your help and
expertise during our loan process. Buying a home is always a daunting
task but especially now with the economic climate and new rules
governing both the lender and buyer. Curtis and I are aware there must
have been untold hours you spent in our family’s behalf and it is for this we
are truly grateful. As you discovered through the course of our loan
process, we had experienced a great personal tragedy. I must admit that
